...I can't believe they were just sitting outside in the snow like this! The babies might be sick too...

Ah! Brother! Can we take them to the vet? Please? I don't want them to die! The mom was taking the best care of them she could so... Please? PLEASE? I promise I'll find homes for some of the babies, but for now.. they're just too little to be separated so...

I'm sure they'll even get along with the ones that I already have! I only have three.. there's room for 7 more if it's just temporary..!

Hmm.. I think I'm doing okay in classes here! Haha. School here isn't as hard or boring as it was back home. It's still really different from the way Teacher used to teach though...

...I should probably visit. Maybe I could get Winry to come with me when I go. I wouldn't want to go by myself. I guess I could visit mom too...

...Oh! Namine! Would you like to do something this weekend? I think I've gotten all of my homework finished, so we could do something today too! You should get out of your room more often, you know.

Hmmm... I wonder if they'll let me take alchemy courses instead of regular classes. I don't really like school all that much. Teacher taught me a lot of alchemy already though. I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't complain! Brother!! You're starting college in the fall right? You have to tell me what the alchemy classes are like, since I know that's what you're going to take!

Oh! Namine, when do you want to go into town? Classes don't start for another week or so, so maybe it could be fun to go before then? I wonder if there's a place to adopt.....brother wouldn't let me though would he? Hmph.

I really wish dad were still here...but I guess he had something important to take care of... that's why he left before, isn't it? ...I hope he's okay.

[There's muffled sounds, and maybe what seems to be crying, or the sniffling that's done right after calming onself down. Alphonse is crouched in a corner of the music hall, his knees drawn up so that he can wrap his arms around his legs. He's exausted, and somewhat worse for wea physicallyr, but nothing horrible. The events from last night didn't end up with him getting physically injured, but the things he saw aren't that easily forgotten, especially for a thirteen year old boy who doesn't remember the heroics he did before. He hasn't slept well since, either. Plagued by nightmares of what he saw, Alphonse has decided that he's going to stay awake.]
